You ought to add "ramble" to the list of words you need to look up, Alexander. And "fact," apparently.
And I don't think Wade was incompetent. I think he missed a very short window and he was never a head coach who was able to actually build a team. That's entirely consistent with what I said about him at the time, as well. Unlike most of you guys who bashed him then and try to use him as a prop now.
Not using him as a prop. I see it as it is.
Garrett is in the exact same situation as Phillips was. Saddled with a poor GM and grossly negligent cap mismanagement.
I just do not choose to live in world of delusion where I think he is capable of overcoming handicaps, nor do I imagine his situation when he took over had nothing to do with him. He had plenty of organizational stroke even before he was handed the job. I don't see him "building" anything, nor do I see him having his fingerprints on the way we do things.
He is not changing anything. He is not building something special. He is trying to survive, while dealing with his own problems when it comes down to handling the ebb and flow of a football game.
He knew exactly what he was getting into. He has the advantage of having Jones in his corner for the most part and he still cannot get over the hump.
Yet there is every excuse in the world rolled out why this is just some long drawn out process that begs patience.
