Take it from an olineman, those guys up front absolutely love to run block versus the alternative. We could have had some breakthroughs yesterday. Just a thought.

Yeah. I hear ya. But my(our) boy TChoice is primed and ready to contribute.dbair1967;3083626 said:These guys just dont get a push more often than not though. Its too much feast or famine again with the run game, and thats why they dont stick with it.
The other issue is the top 2 backs are clearly far less than 100%

We ran the ball six times, and passed it six times.
As far as a screen to Felix, I'd like to see that more as well, although I thought we did run it and they stopped us.
we did but it was to our slowest and most banged up rb Barber.NextGenBoys;3083631 said:Before falling behind 10-0, we had 12 first downs.

ChldsPlay;3083590 said:You realize that almost half of those plays came in the last 10 minutes or so of the game right? We had only about 30 plays prior to Romo's fumble, so it wasn't so lopsided. But after we were down 17-0, it was pretty strictly pass, and for good reason.
The reason we had so few runs is because we went 3 and out for over 2 full quarters.

Clueless!!! Both you and Garrett...:yousuck: :stop: :splat: :nono:

Not saying that makes him lousy or anything because he's clearly proven he can be a productive player, but I think they keep rolling Barber and Jones out there for a reason.

That literally made me "lol"
Bleu Star;3083597 said:So then it doesn't seem to any of you as though we may have abandoned the run a little too early in the game?
ChldsPlay;3083664 said:If you mean 10 min. to go down 17-0, then no, I don't think that's too early at all.

This is updated through the games yesterday, but they were ranked pretty high before our game too. They are also tied for 3rd fewest rushing tds allowed (3) They are also 5th in fewest first downs allowed rushing.
Since I'm sure they saw evidence of this on game tapes, and knowing also that we've been struggling to run the ball consistently and 2 of our top 3 backs were hurt, its not surprising they thought it would be alot easier to pass more to win this game. Especially in light of the fact that Romo had been playing so well.

I thought we were going to run the damn ball. But Garrett has decided to do something else with the talent. Why Choice sits on the bench...is beyond dumb.
Every game i sit and yell...“run the freakin ball Garrett!”. The members of The Garrett Jock Sniffers Club don’t see it, i know everyone else does. Wade needs to take over, although he won’t overstep those boundaries.
