Look at all the contenders…what team has a receiving group like that? Especially in the NFC? Commanders? They are frauds who will be looking to get Tee Higgins if he’s available. You may can get away with lesser talent but you better have a Andy Reid or Sean McVey.

Philly went from playoff team to better playoff team. Are they better than Minnesota and Detroit? They don’t look it right now. At least they’ll get the opportunity to find out.

I appreciate the perspective, but things turn quick in the NFL. Just as quick as we went from a 12 win team to what we're now we could reverse course with adding a couple more guys in the offseason, getting healthier, and a new coaching staff. My main concern is if the Cowboys have another quiet offseason, watch their guys leave and hope to just fill holes with rookies and 3rd tier free agents, and roll back the same coaching staff. If that's the case next season isn't likely to be any better.

The thing is, our 12-win teams werent contenders either.

1 and done twice and the lone win we got was a 8-9 Bucs squad.

I disagree... We only need to get healthy and stay healthy next season. Get a real coach in here. Get the ghoul to stay away. Hire a great DC and OC and draft defense heavy. We do this and I guarantee a playoff spot. We can go from there afterwards. Not that hard.....
