Beasley is that you? Work on catching passing instead of hanging out on message boards. lulz

Do we want to talk about the passes that were thrown his way being terrible or just say he "dropped" a couple passes tonight?

I guess if you want to look at it that way, i can see why you think he might be cut.

If it were Tony throwing him the ball, it would've been 2 completions and a TD.

Matt Johnson has been often injured ever since high school. Granted @ EWU he played through some of them in the games, he never practiced and never had a great work ethic. He always used injuries as an excuse not to practice...He's a lot of folks pet here so some are pretty defensive about him..I want an answer at safety as much as every other Cowboys fan, but we need to stop annoiting folks before they prove they can play without coming out..As Bill Parcells used to preach all the time, "You never know who's coming into that huddle, are you sure you want to come out of it?"

Gonna call you out - proof please of Matt Johnson's lack of work ethic and faking injuries in college. Not your opinion, facts. Its a serious charge

All the RB's looked good. Leary and Frederick looked good. Selvie looked good but against other teams ones the past three years hasnt. Holloman has play making ability, always around the ball.

Henderson was right about Wilcox having a long way to go. Hamilton was a step late all night. Tanney looked like a guy long out of college at his last stop, but playing behind that garbage who knows.

I don't know if I can list 3 likes and dislikes. I'll just mention what I saw.

I think Frederick is going to be the guy the Cowboys thought he would be. Helooked very agile, quick and strong. He was able to get to the next level with ease and make good blocks pretty much the entire time he was playing. It's kinda weird thinking that one guy will significantly improve the entire offensive line, but I think that's exactly what's going to happen. The starters, especially Frederick and Leary, looked really, really good. I'm very happy with them. But even better, the backups looked pretty good too...well, most of them.

How about that Cowboys running game? Wow. 170 yards, 5 yards a carry. 2 redzone TDs. I realize that the offensive line had a lot to do with that success tonight, but still, all of our backs actually looked pretty good, especially Tanner, bouncing off of guys and picking up yards after contact. He was doing some tough running tonight. It gives me some confidence that maybe the team won't suffer as much as it did last year if Murray goes down again. I was impressed.

Selvie...that guy was kicking some *** out there tonight. I'm really curious as to why he didn't stick with the Panthers and Jags early in his career. Maybe it's just taken him longer to come into his own, I don't know. I'm not trying to crown the guy or anything like that, but he sure looked good tonight. If he can keep this up, we might have a really good player who can help give Ware a rest without sacrificing too much pressure on the QB.

On the flip side, the only guy who really did not impress was Pellerin. Yikes. I think I've seen enough of him.

Oh...one more guy. Heath Evans. Yeah, I know. He didn't play. He's not even a Cowboy. He's retired. He's also an idiot. Did anyone catch his interview with some player, I can't even remember who, on NFL Total Access right after the game? He said, and I'm paraphrasing, "I know people are asking you dumb questions, and I don't want to do that, but I want to talk about the West Coast offense. Most people don't know what that is...."

Excuse me, Heath, but who do you think watches NFL Total Access? It sure isn't my 85 year old mom who has never watched football in her life.

Unreal....

Williams didn't play. But good call on Rosario. Good blocking downfield and receiving

Oh, I thought I saw him out there, but you're right. Then put any of the receivers we trotted out there: 16, 14, 13, 11, 10 they were all forgettable.

Was I the only one who liked the way Shelby played? I thought he played decently as well.

I don't think Beasley did bad tonight. He was open for two TDs had the QB made even a half decent throw. He did have one drop on a slant but again, the throw could have been better. The fact that he was open should count for a lot. He is hard to cover.

His punt returns were not much. But he showed no fear catching a punt near the ten yard line in traffic and returning it a few yards. He is not going to make this team as the punt returner. But, he can back up at that position.

What are you talking about? The first pass to him would never be a completion, not his fault, he is to small for that route. The second pass was a slant and hit him in his hands, he just dropped it, you can't drop those. The third was the scramble where he sat and waited for the ball, watch his feet, he did not slip, he didn't come back for the ball and realized it which is why he went down like he did. I didn't see a replay from the front, but it looked like Beasley had a chance to make a play on the ball and he didn't. Dez makes that catch. Either you are Beasly or you are his mother/dad/brother/etc cause you defend him every time someone passes judgement on him.

I defend him when i see illogical things being said about him, no doubt.

He's almost a lock to make the team at this point though.. so we really don't have to get into it.

But that slant to him was a terrible throw, and the would be TD was just that.. would've been a TD if Romo had thrown that pass.

Like i said.. sig bet he makes the team.

I laughed pretty hard when I saw Dion Jordan was on him for a lot of the game. I don't think Weems is that good, but that's not even a fair matchup, lol.

Weems should've known Jordan's game they played together at Oregon but man Jordan just whooped him, not as bad as Selvie whooping Dallas Thomas (draft pet cat).

As far as impressed:
Selvie-if he can get back what he once had at USF then we just robbed the bank.

Tanner- ran demon possessed.

Nick Hayden- might be a steal as a rotational guy.

Disappointed:
Wilcox, Weems, and Costa. Costa was awful tonite getting pushed around by the Dolphins 3rd string.

The slant was not a terrible throw, it hit him in BOTH of his hands. You keep saying if Romo threw that pass he would have caught it, well if Dez was in those situations, he would have caught both of those balls. If you actually read what I wrote instead of hyperventilating over your Beasley love affair, you would see I said, I am not ready to cut him yet. So why would I make a sig bet about a guy who I said I am not ready to cut yet?
