TO is the MVP of this team

In fairness I have to say I did like what I saw from TO this past sunday and think he was one of the few bright spots of the game. When Dallas needed a big play late TO made the big catch. Hopefully he can continue and we make far less mistakes than we did this past weekend.

He wouldn't with out Romo though. It could also be argued that with out owens blah blah blah.:D

Name one WR that would lead anything without his QB, ... weak.

Uncharacteristic of Keyshawn. Can you point to any more big Keyshawn drops this season? Or during his time with the Cowboys?

TO leads the league in dropped passes.

Owens leads the NFL in TD catches, one shy of a Cowboys season record, he is in the top of WR's for catches, yards, 1st down receptions, etc.

So to pick out 1 or 2 negative plays and try to define him with those plays is ridiculous, and unfair.

But if that's how you see it, OK.

Sir, yes Sir! By the way, have you seen Rocky Balboa? Rocky my favorite movie, and was surprised to hear RB is really good? Anyway, I thought what I commented on was someone bringing up last year, and Bledsoe throwing the ball downfield to TO. Honestly, I really don't care. If this guy that started this thread thinks that Bledsoe got the ball to TO downfield more than ROMO, well then....I hope his company doesn't do random drug testing. I am just bored! Hope we do well in 2007!

My friend... would you believe I left the office about 2 hours ago and just got back from seeing it again(2nd time) just a few minutes ago... Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!

Wasnt picking on ya... I just wanna go with the "gotta believe" until there is no reason to believe... we are in... and the season starts saturday - go cowboys

I wish the players had that attitude. It aint over til it's over.:)

i think romo is responsible for saving the season, TO is responsible for the prolific offense.

I do believe you have summed it up best. Short and sweet

Marc Colombo gets my nod. T.O. would finish in my top 5 though Ware, Romo, Barber, Newman, and then Mr. 13 TDs would round it out.

Seriously how is a QB who went 1-3 during the month of december (all losses at HOME)....you know the month when a team is supposed to be playing their best heading into the playoffs......anywhere close to an MVP candidate?

You Romo homers kill me! :laugh2: :laugh1:

The kid definitely has talent, but he's no where close to being a 'probowl' QB right now....get over the QB rating thing....it's the most overrated stat in football....as long as you have more TD's than INT's you could have 80 sacks and fumbles and still have a high rating. Even Bledsoe had a 90+ QB rating last year, does that make him God?

TO is the MVP.....can also argue that Greg Ellis was pretty valuable to this team as well since we forgot how to play defense since he went down.

how can you say that a guy many used to call the BEST wr in the game is the mvp of this team, when he dropped almost 20 passes this year!!!!!

Do you not watch the games? Romo makes so many things happen that the average QB couldn't do, especially Bledsoe. How about the play in his own end zone? Or the Favre style flip to Witten. Or the clutch throw against the Giants to win the game. I'd take Romo over everyone in this league right now aside from Palmer, Manning, and Brady.

Good picks, we might add Glenn, Owens, and Barber, ... maybe even Columbo to the offense.

And R. Williams, TNew & Ferguson to the defense.

If the team picks one, I hope they pick Romo.

But D. Ware might get the nod.

Because we wouldn't be more than a 4 win team without TO. Romo might have 'stats' but he don't win games, if he did than maybe I would consider him the MVP like I thought Bledsoe was last year.

TO makes things happen.....he's a leader and winner, whether you are a fan of him or not.

I would really be interested in the real total number of drops.... mind you... I am all for holding him accountable because he has dropped some big passes BUT... has anyone broken down all of his drops and labeled correctly?

defended passes are not drops....

balls that are not catchable are not drops...

lets be real here...

AGain... I am all for accountability minus the fluffed up drop stats
