Yeah why not? Certainly has the experience and has gotten to see how NOT to call plays up close and personal. He just has to do the opposite in most cases and he will be fine

Not really. McCarthy is certainly involved but I think one of his strengths is delegation and collaboration. I think the rest of the staff has this handled well.

Coworker had this. Took a few days off work and came back with some restrictions on what he can do physically but otherwise was ok. If Mike is coaching on sunday he's a tough old bird, much respect.
