Truth.

JimmyG > Dak

Look at their playoff records. 8)
With that logic you should have Jimmy G as a much better QB. His playoff record is much better than Dak’s. With your logic Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson were better than Dak because of their playoff records. If Dak had the defenses those QBs had his playoff record would be much better. Truth! Those other QBs wouldn’t have won a single playoff game with our defenses. Not to mention our lack of a running game

Serious question: With Trey Lance and Dak Prescott, will the Cowboys cut/release Cooper Rush as the roster tightens?
They may do it as a favor to him to allow him to find another team who needs a stable backup rather than keeping him as a third string emergency option

TL couldn't beat out any 1st or 2nd string QB in the NFL! As a matter of fact, he would have major issues just trying to keep a starting job in the USFL if he was lucky enough for one of the teams to sign and GIVE him the starting QB job. Some of the Cowboy posters are living in la la land if they think TL has the goods to be the 2nd string QB for the Cowboys, because he doesn't! This kid should have stayed in school and played against real universities, like Georgia, Florida or Michigan to get the experience he needs to be a QB at the next level. Unfortunately, this kid had agents in his ears telling him how much money he could make and how he could take care of his family if he got drafted and fortunately for the NFL the 9ers were the idiots who threw away value draft picks to draft this NFL BUST and unfortunately for the Cowboys the QB Whisper, JJ came along and wasted a 4th rd pick to obtain this kid's services when that 4th rd pick could have been better used on a decent RB that is desperately needed.

No. I think Rush’s job is the safest as far as getting a longer term deal. He’s at best a solid backup QB. It’s either Dak does something he hasn’t done before or he’s gone, Lance steps up or he’s gone, or the Cowboys draft a QB next year.

Cooper Rush has proven his value. Trance has proven nothing.
"Trance" is not even a good nic.

If you are going to continually bash the guy.. come up with something better.. coz that is becoming boring as hell.

Rush is not a good QB, he just highlighted that we have a roster capable of winning with average, smart QB play. He's not likely going to be here past training camp is my thought on it.
He’s better at going through his progressions and making quick decisions than Brainiac Dak…. If he had arm strength, he’d probably be pretty legit

False. Jimmy G has played on MUCH better teams. The 49ers have reached the SB with 2 different QBs the past 4 years. Jimmy G didn’t even last a full season as the Raiders starting QB.
No, they were on better teams because both QB weren’t Dak..

You can’t possibly be serious. If you can’t see how much better the 49ers defense and running game is than ours you’re either following the wrong sport or blinded by your hatred for Dak.

Repeating the same nonsense over and ove again doesn’t make it true…

Dak handed the ball over to the 49ers in scoring territory and threw dud after dud. Dallas held the 49ers to 19, LESS than their season average of 20.5.

Held turn to 23 the year before. JG threw for 172 yards on 16 completions and gifted them an awful INT that allowed scrub Dak an opportunity to not look as trash as he normally does in the playoffs.

by that definition Dilfer is a better QB than Marino. Dilfer was 5-1 in playoffs. Marino 8-10.

so now, lets say you are building a team. and both Dilfer and Marino are available. who would you take? you are going to get dead silence.

19 points buddy…. 3 of them gifted by Dak in scoring territory, but that “awful” Dallas defense held them to a FG. The difference between the 49ers and Cowboys defensive was marginal.
GENO Smith put up at least 17 points in the FIRST HALF and had them in the lead, unlike Dak.

23 points the previous year, and Dallas was ranked 5th in scoring the 49ers 9th. Dallas defense generated around 12 more TOs the whole season. And Jimmy G had to gift Dak an opportunity to even put points on the board because he was choking so much.

So NO, the 49ers defense was not that much better.

Constantly repeating your bogus narrative doesn’t make it true.

The Cowboys were a better team with Rush.
Nine offensive touchdowns in five games with Rush is "better"?

I know the narrative surrounding Dak is bad right now but making things up like this doesn't help.

Wanting more from Dak in the postseason is fine. Suggesting this team would be better with Rush is like suggesting the 1990's Cowboys were better with Jason Garrett or Steve Beurlein. Because they won those games too.

Really......I wonder why the coaching staff does not see it that way.
Because McCarthy still thinks he has Rodgers and tells Dak to "sling it". Rush isn't a better QB than Dak, but we played into the teams strengths better when Rush was QB. Spread the ball around, relied on the run, ate at the clock.

This is also when Dak was at his best. People can toss all the TD numbers they want. That's the NFL today, QBs that pass a lot will get a lot of TDs. Dak's best season is still his rookie season and the second half of 2018.

That 2022 playoff game against SF was the only playoff game we lost where the defense played respectably but we couldn’t run the ball. Pollard only had 22 yards, averaging 3.7 before he was injured. Dak was awful in that game but the other two losses to the 49ers in 2021 and last season our defense was terrible! If you don’t think the 49ers have a MUCH better team and defense than the Cowboys you’re totally lost! As for Seattle, Geno Smith carved our defense up for 334 yards and 3 TDs. Had Dak not had a great game with 299 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs we would have been blown out. It was obvious we weren’t going to get far in the playoffs with no running game and a piss poor defense. Knock off the Dak hate and open your eyes.
