I'd rather he just show up, shut up, stop pointing fingers and learn to cover, which I don't think is so much to ask from the guy. You know, do his job.

if that thread is an admittance you go overboard at times, it ain't rat droppings in the real world.

i'd rather the bashers just shut up, know roys here regardless, and stop critisizing every single move he makes so the BASHERS can find some form of justification in the world.

i don't think it's too much to ask - to stop pummelling a forum with ROY SUCKS when it changes nothing.

It's akin to worrying about what a thief 's mindset was when he broke into a house. Who cares? He still stole something.

He's not on the field getting better, while his teammates are. It's typical for him, and the fact that you guys can't even own up to that fact is typical for you guys.

For the last time, his teammates are out sweating, learning, practicing and hopefully, getting better for next year.

Meanwhile, Roy's on an inflatable raft somewhere soaking up the sun, but you'd rather concentrate on the circumstances of how he got to such a place.

Well, we can discuss hypotheticals forever (but I'd rather not), but I feel certain that if two players, regardless of their names, scheduled events that conflicted with team events and one cancelled and one didn't, I'd be all over the one who didn't, even if his name was Aikman, Staubach, Irvin, T.O., Romo or Witten.

The thing is, though, that those guys didn't, but one guy did - Mr Roy. That's an indisputable fact, and has nothing to do with my so-called agenda.

After the Saints game, teams were exploiting both of them. Brees hit Devrey Henderson for a 50 yarder over Wiliams. Williams bit on a play fake and was burned.

Roy didn't bite on a play fake, he just got beaten.

James was never beaten deep in Cover-2 against the Saints, so I find it curious that he would say something like that about the Cover-2 after the Saints game. And I find it curiouser that that quote is nowhere to be found on the Internet or in the archives on this site, where just about everything gets posted. Not to mention that MacMahon didn't replace Matt Mosley until about seven months after the Saints game.

According to MacMahan, James said that he'd take the blame, but he expected help from the safety.

Not only did the Cowboys say they were in Quarters, not Cover-2, you can tell from the cornerbacks' coverage that it wasn't Cover-2.

I posted a link where Williams himself stated it was his fault. Williams admitted he was at fault.

Like I already said, Roy blamed himself for not making the play, but he was not the one who was at fault for getting beaten.

Here's what Roy said, "Honestly those weren't my plays, but yeah, I took it upon myself to say that's my fault."

Everyone at Valley Ranch -- from Bill Parcells to Aaron Glenn -- said that Moss was not Roy's responsibility.

I was merely pointed out that there is another player who has a contract dispute but he's here so you give Hamlin a pass. No big deal, however a guy whos been here 8 years never miss one OTA and has over 500 tackles 19 ints 56 Pdef you have a major problem with. Seems odd to me.

For the record, I don't agree with Roy missing any of the OTAs. He should be there. But nobody threw a fit last year when a bunch of players missed some of the OTAs, including DeMarcus Ware, Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn, Jason Ferguson, Aaron Glenn and several other players. And they were all excused absences, just like Roy's is this year.

Hamlin is going to get paid the average of the 5 highest paid safeties in the league..... 4.3 million for one year.

One guy isn't showing up because he wants more than 4.3 million this year, however, the guy who cleared missing the OTA's with the coaches is the one getting all the flack.
