Hot Dog..I still think that whole Lesnar stuff is weird. He's not even on there regularly. I just cannot wrap my head out of rewarding a part time guy. Maybe it'll click one day for me but not yet. He's creepy looking too. Maybe he's been hit too much.
I'm a little behind in my reading to know if Lesner is planning on staying around for a while or not. If he can be talked into staying until Wrestlemania I can easily see him beating Cena. He is one bad dude. If Cena beats him at SummerSlam, brace yourself to see him as champ for a looooooooooong time.

Kane is too hokey of a character for my tastes, but I can understand how he would get over with the kids.

I'm not a fan of his style of wrestling for his size and his character. He does a lot of pedestrian spots. Like the lariat from the top rope. He's not bad at it, but it doesn't wow me by any means. He does the chokeslam, but again...it's not going to wow anybody.

He can't move like he used to at all and you are right about his character. The Undertaker really struggled toward the end of his career and Kane is following the same path. His in-ring time should be seriously cut back soon.

Spike TV has let TNA officials know that they will not be renewing their TV contract in October. No word yet on when Impact will stop airing.

Multiple sources with knowledge of the deal told TMZ that Spike TV executives contacted Dixie Carter this week to break the news. Dixie told members of her inner circle the following day.

Read something about AMC stepped up to plate and will be bring TNA to their channel now.

That's a movie channel. That's confusing to me.

It's all about the ratings these days and they try to get any ratings they can.

Although it may just be TNA spreading those rumors and hoping that it will draw interest from other TV companies.

When it comes to pro wrestling, just watch the movie Slap Shot and you get a pretty good idea of how wrestling promotions tend to operate.

I honestly don't know how cable channels work regarding programming but you know if you're going to name your channel a movie channel show movies you know? I didn't know they show Walking Dead except for money.,I wouldn't be caught dead watching that gross zombie stuff. :)

You guys got me on why SMACKDOWN is on SyFi. Maybe there is some irony in that.

It is all about money. Most of my channels on my satellite are shopping channels. 24 hours a day.

Well, it the AMC thing happens maybe we can get some WCW style crossovers. But instead of having the Misfits or Kiss showing up, they can create a gimmick that is a Walking Dead zombie that comes down and tries to eat his opponent.

I googled TNA & couldn't find anything about any prospective buyers. In fact the lady that runs them says they are still negotiating with SPIKE. Maybe it's bluster but that's pretty much all I saw.

Batista not sure how much time he has left in wrestling, talks Sting in WWE, retiring against Triple H

If last week was Dwayne Johnson week, get ready for Dave Bautista week.

With his big star-making turn as Drax the Destroyer ready to hit North American movie screens on Friday, August 1st, Batista is already busy on the public relations circuit hypingGuardians of the Galaxy. And as we saw with The Rock last week, that means that people will ask questions about WWE and pro wrestling, so we'll get lots of sound bites.

In an interview with London's The Mirror, the man we know as Batista in WWE was first hit with the question everyone is asking when it comes to Vince McMahon's company these days...what's up with Sting?

He admits that he doesn't know where Sting would fit in WWE's plans, especially considering that he's never met the man behind that character, he definitely hopes that he's coming to WWE.

Batista confirms that he is definitely coming back to WWE (as his alleged two year contract would indicate), but it sounds like he's viewing this as his last time with the company.

It's not 'will I go back?', it's 'when will I go back?'. Hopefully it won't be far too long...I realise my career is not going to be that long if I do go back just because physically... realistically, I'm 45 years old now, how much longer can I continue...? You do take a beating in professional wrestling. But I love it.

"Triple H right now is the guy I really want to work with. I want to go back and that's hopefully that'll be my retirement program. Yeah, I'll have my WrestleMania retirement match with Triple H."

It's my understanding that Lesnar is signed until sometime in 2015 which I would assume is likely until after WM. So I can actually see them giving Lesnar a run as the champion right now so that when Bryan returns, or if they can talk Punk into coming back, they could beat Lesnar for the title and protect Superman from having to lose to one of them again.

What I've read (for what it's worth) is Lesner wins at SummerSlam then loses to Reigns at Wrestlemania.

JMO but the news on Bryan isn't good and right now I'd say the chances of him returning are 50/50 at best and that is being very generous. And I don't think Punk is ever returning.

I agree 100%. I have never been all that impressed with him. He has the look and the bloodlines, but in the ring he just doesn't do anything for me.

A lot of insiders in wrestling rave about how good of a worker he is, but I don't see it. He works rather loose and botches a lot of spots. I also think he's a lousy seller.

I think his father was better.

LOL!

They certainly tended to operate that way under the old territory system.
