I think Baker Mayfield finally has an HC/OC who can help grow his game. Baker might take off, if Stephanski can get Cousins performing well on the playoffs stage, should be just a matter of time.
According to Cowherd
Browns are 7-1 when Baker throws less than 26 times. 8-17 when he throws more.
This game will not be about Dak vs Baker. It will be about Chubb vs Zeke. Zeke has to get his rushing yards average up above Chubb. That will be the difference in the game.
Well, he's constantly compared to first round QBs. I think that's why his draft status keeps coming up. Some people hold his draft position against him. Some use it to prop him up. It's just another argument applied to maybe the most polarizing player in Cowboys history. Yes, even more than Quincy Carter and Tony Romo - and that's saying a lot.Let's start a Dak thread for every QB ever drafted.
Yeah, that'd be cool.
YES, Dallas got a steal getting Dak in the 4th.
He's in his 5th year now and, by the very definition of the franchise tag requirements, is getting paid like a top tier QB.
Can we get over the draft position finally?
Agree! Dak is no longer a bargain on a rookie 4th round contract. He is getting paid top money and now it's time to show he is worth it.
I disagree . Baker is much more accurate and had 4 offensive coaches in 3 years . You watch this Sunday .Dak is miles better than Baker. I imagine almost everyone on this site would acknowledge that.
I think Baker still has potential but I agree with you about his erratic passing being a major concern.
