Cowherd: "It's ridiculous to expect Dak to get over the hump, as it would be for Kirk Cousins."

I think Wentz will still have his day. QB’s can play well into their 40’s these days, he has a long time in front of him.

It's not Dak's fault. This team hasn't been able to get over the divisional round hump since the 90s - it's become a wall.

Dak, obviously, has not been around for all of that. There are only two people who fully own it. They are the albatross...

Mahomes just won a SB with a 7th round rookie RB and Juju as his #1 WR. The Chiefs defense allowed the most passing TDs in the NFL. They were 16th in points allowed while the Cowboys were 6th.

The only advantages Mahomes had were Travis Kelce and Andy Reid. Yet he won another ring and we got another year of excuses for Dak flopping in the divisional round. What will be the excuse this season?
What a crock. You Dak haters are the absolute worst.

Mahomes had a top 5 Oline. Without an Oline, Mahomes does absolutely nothing!

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2022-nfl-offensive-line-rankings

Mahomes also has the #1 Tight End in the league.

Mahomes also had a top 2 Defensive Line in the whole league who finished ranked just behind the Eagles while accumulating 40.5 sacks (10 more than the Cowboys D-line at 30).

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-defensive-line-rankings-by-teams-2022

Mahomes' Chiefs ended up #1 with the best receiving group in the whole NFL by far with over 5,200 receiving yards accumulated. The 2nd best receiving team was the Vikings with over 400 receiving yards less. That's how good a receiving group Mahomes had in 2022.

https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/offense/receiving/2022/reg/all

Plus, it's not as if Mahomes didn't have a good rushing group around him. They only rushed for almost 2,000 yards in 2022 (1,970 rushing yards to be precise. Only 300 yards less than the 8th best rushing group from the Cowboys at 2,298 rushing yards). Heck, rushing for roughly 2,000 yards in any season is a definite sign of a good rushing attack.

https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/offense/rushing/2022/reg/all

Mahomes also has a top 2 head coach and arguably the best coaching group in the past 5 years around him. Same group who has helped Mahomes and the Chiefs reach the conference championship game in 2018, win a Super Bowl in 2019, reach another Super Bowl in 2020, reach another conference championship game in 2021, and win a second Super Bowl in 2022.

I'm sure there is more top everything group of players Mahomes has had around him the past 5 years, but I'm tired of dealing with your lies and hatred while making you look very bad.

I stopped reading at "Dak haters" because it is the nonsense some folks need to rationalize their blind faith.

I was all about Dak after his breakout rookie season, but after 7 years - and the 7th being his worse - I'm done making excuses. Obviously, you're not there yet.

The same way Dak enters the convo in many non-Dak threads including the "I love Tony Romo" thread that the mods had to delete because the Dak haters came out in full force.

@TheMarathonContinues ask you a very valid question that you haven't answered yet. Let us know how you adjusted Romo's stats to make him look better and to make it more even with Dak's. Maybe one day we can do the same for Dak if he can't win the big game like Romo couldn't.
Exactly! And I’m sure I can find a long list of guys with “similar” stats to Kirk Cousins…you remember how before last year people tried to knock Dak for the teams he’s beaten? Now they are hush. No mention of the teams Cousins can’t beat throughout his career though.

At least I apply links to support my comments. You don't! If you want to hate, go ahead. It's your right. You're entitled to your opinions, but you're not entitled to your made up accusations. Dak is not what you claim or accuse him of. The statistical facts and links prove you wrong.

I supported my comments with facts about the 2022 Chiefs. They aren't hard to find. I shouldn't need to post links to easily discoverable information. Everything I said about them is true, and easy to verify - 7th round RB, Juju, and 2022 NFL team defense stats. Easy.

Your Dak apologetics are just statistical garbage to rationalize your own feelings, despite the actual results. Tap dancing about what happened by trying to suggest what could have happened, but didn't. Whatever you need to tell yourself to believe this is the year.

Did Cowherd just say "His GREAT offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, is gone"? :omg:

:lmao:
LOL Yup. I think the Herd is full of cow chips on a couple things......I agree with you, Kellen Moore GREAT??? Not in my book!
Not only that but Herd made a big deal out of Dak losing too many weapons this year.......BALONEY!
Losing Zeke was no big deal. At one time in the past yes, but not so much now.
Not only that, we have new talent coming in at WR, RB and TE if they all get and stay healthy.
Aside from that, I think our defense is going to be noticeably stronger this year.
Dak is Dak, no big changes there, but the team around him will be better this year.

Once again, you've got absolutely nothing. You can't post any links the way I did because they will make you look foolish. The only who should be using "apologetics" here is you for your disproven anti-Dak rants.

It takes a Dak Hater to minimize Andy Reid's accomplishments....only the 3rd Winningest Coach in NFL playoff history behind Landry and Belichick.....

Dak Haters are untethered from reality.

Fwiw, Dak has played long enough now that he is getting a slight time-adjusted bump in QB ratings/QBR compared to guys only 1-2 years in.

I answered his question as honestly as I could. Not sure what else you wanted me to do there.

I don’t see anyone saying he’s not without fault—just that he’s not to blame for everything.

Dissing Dallas is a bestseller, but it gets old sometimes.
We have a well known Dak defender that told us Kellen MADE Dak run the 2nd play that was intercepted after the first one almost was/should have been.

Dak screwed up. You guys keep leaning on that play to justify your misinformed opinion of Dak just like how people use to show the Derek Carr video to prove he has accuracy issues.
