No worries luv. There are more important things in life than worrying about a post or three. It's only a forum. It's my liquid motivation, honey.
I swear, my uptick ratio of posts correlates highly to alcohol.
And nearly every morning after I regret a post or three
Good morning to you as well luv.Good morning, to you M. I think Pops would be basking in the sun today out here in SoCal.
I've got two rescue Yorkies, Leon. Even two and a half years later, they are still on edge most of the time. I took them in the back yard and showed them four squirrels on the ground and they didn't know what to do with them. They're good company though.Morning, Pops, friends and neighbors. Welcome to the Weekend! My yorkie attacked a small opossum yesterday and it immediatly went into a catatonic state. I stopped her and took her back into the house. An hour of so later the opossum had left. The sucker really did look dead. Sorta how I feel this morning!
Maybe you should get a dog too.Good morning Pops and friends. I hope everyone has a great Saturday. It will be too hot for me to do anything outside, so I'll see how much trouble I can get into on the inside.

You're welcome, you can also lighten your hair at the same time.CC, I've been using the hydrogen peroxide water solution with a syringe for my wisdom teeth holes the past week and a half after salt water washes we're no longer needed, and I ran out of an antibiotic mouthwash they gave me. Working like a charm. Thanks, again, for the tip, amigo.
Morning Pops and special empathy for fellow hell dwellers in places where the heat is not part of the usual plan. Down here in central Texas, it is a waste of air to complain about the heat. It's Texas, it's July and even though it is unusually high heat, it is only temporary. In 4-5 months, we'll be looking at our northern neighbors dealing with blizzards and white outs while we've still got summer.
I wanna sell my house and move to Hawaii. But I wanna escape Winter, while you wanna escape Summer.Good afternoon Pops and friends. I hope everyone stays cool and has a good Sunday.
I'm right here in the heat with you, Coach. July is just the warm up for August. I hate August! Hopefully September will be merciful to us. I remember sweating on Halloween, riding bikes in shorts Christmas day and all the stuff that comes living this close to the Equator without an ocean breeze. Why are we here instead of a nice island? UGH!
If you've ever lived through our summers, not just visited, you'd want out too. I remember a sentence in a book that stuck with me. "They lived in the best weather they could afford."I wanna sell my house and move to Hawaii. But I wanna escape Winter, while you wanna escape Summer.
Stop trying to cheer me up.Texas is an area of perpetual drought w/ occasional heavy flooding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely sympathize with you all down there. Just from the experience of Florida humidity during my honeymoon, I wouldn't want to live there, and you have less of a breeze, I'm sure!I am here because of family, my sons and grandkids live in Austin and the rest, except for Denver, are all in Dallas. I honestly do not know where I would live if family was not a concern. I loved Idaho but am not physically able to enjoy what that lifestyle has to offer.
I lived in PA for 3 years but moved right before one of those blizzards with 60 mile an hour winds and 6 foot drifts hit and I travelled a lot so I experienced it but I knew I would be leaving it, just a temporary inconvenience. I did not have to deal with what some of you have to up there.
So, any pity for the heat you want to send my way, I am accepting and will return in kind to you come January.
Any breeze is not cooling, it's just moving the hot air. And it's actually hotter out on the lake and you have to keep moving to have any breeze but when it's 108+, there is no cooling outside.I definitely sympathize with you all down there. Water fans, sprinklers, and shade!!!!Any breeze is not cooling, it's just moving the hot air. And it's actually hotter out on the lake and you have to keep moving to have any breeze but when it's 108+, there is no cooling outside.
I don't have to go out in it so I am fine but I feel for people who have to go out and work in that. If I choose to hit the patio for a cigar and cocktail, that's on me. But I've got the shade and fans on me.
