And as for those saying Skins fans coming on here trying to "persuade" Cowboys fans...well there are just as 'Boys many on ES doing the same thing for Roy Williams...

Save this baloney copout for extremeskins, then. We're tired of hearing it. Most Cowboy fans who elect to go over there act with respect, and are generally not looking for crap. If you have an issue with Cowboys trolls going to ES and talking crap, go over there and conduct your crusade. Don't bring your stupid "war" over here.

Skins fans are going to stick with Taylor, Boys fans with Williams...

Well, I'd ask them the very same question.....the one you failed to answer.

Actually, we all know why you're here.....and we all know you wouldn't be here if our matchups had the normal outcome.

Yes b/c we all know that no one who really deserves it is ever left off, or someone who get on by name recognition only ever makes it on...

Didn't Larry Allen once make the Pro Bowl after playing in only 8 games?

This thread is more evidence the season really needs to start...

So, that means you like the game of tit for tat and want to be thought of in the same light as those jerks?

Fine, done. Now don't complain about it ever again. You're here because you like the abuse. We get it.

Sound like some sort of "machinist" to me....

Ah the debate lives on. I love it; love the rivalry. Looking at the stats is pointless, Roy is more of a pure SS and ST is more of a pure FS. Both have a presence on the field; both safeties make their defenses significantly better.

Who's better? Don't know and don't care. They both have advantages over the other. I do love to see the rivalry live on though, so keep at it fellas. ;)

Personally, I'd take Adrian Wilson over both of em.

I've been over there, too.

I quickly realized there was very little room for reasonable talk. It's a madhouse.

But I didn't stay, and try to change them, or try to fix their homer ways. It's their site - would I want them coming here and doing the same thing?

The answer is no. There are some Skins fans here that can get things going right - and sometimes, when I see an interesting topic if I check ES, I'll chime.

I'm not out to change the world, though. If they want a super-homer site, so be it. They have a ton of them, if only because the site membership is so enormous. but there's good people, too.

In short, fisher - knock it off. :)

You're just bringing them over here. Although I very much doubt that stupid reason he cited was legit. They come over here to antagonize us, and we them - for the most part.

I just wish the mods weren't so long-suffering on here, sometimes. :)

Thanks, I can't watch it now (at work), but I will when I get home. I wasn't trying to imply that you were making things up or anything, i just never have seen anyone duck RW. Then again, my experience watching Cowboys games is pretty limited.
And I didn't know that Stinkston ducked Taylor either. I was out all last season (2004).

The best was watching Amani Toomer in the second Giants game in 2003. Toomer had been talking trash all week long about Roy leading up to that game and Roy absolutely levels him in the first quarter and Toomer was wincing and not the same for the entire game. The same could be said for Tai Streets in the 2004 game against the Lions.

Pinkston ducked Taylor in 2004, dear god that was a bad one. I think he claimed he lost the ball in the lights :lmao2:

The debate will never end. Roy Williams has made mistakes, Sean Taylor has made mistakes. Roy Williams has made outstanding plays, Sean Taylor has made outstanding plays.

Every Cowboy fan will say that Roy Williams is the better safety until the end. The same goes for every Commander fan.

According to STATS, Inc., Taylor led all safeties in TD's allowed in 2004. Roy has never come close to that and he's had to do it with the likes of Lynn Scott, Tony Dixon, and Keith Davis playing beside him.

To be frank, I have a bit of a perverse fascination of seeing Taylor and Roy playing in the same defensive backfield because they are such big hitters and Roy makes far less mistakes and plays the run better while Taylor has better range. But, Taylor hasn't even come close to proving that he's as good as Roy at this point in time. Then again, it's only his second year. I don't think anybody is saying he doesn't have the skill and athleticism to be as good or better than Roy, he just isn't at that level yet.

And remember, he didn't start for the Skins early on in his rookie year. So we are not the only ones who think Taylor's play wasn't up to snuff.

He doesn't play for the darling Cowboys.

Thank the good Lord above for that!

Parcells got rid of all the street thugs, spitters, gun toting, classless cowards! Sean would not stand a chance...

St. Gibbs on the other hand...with his hypocritical, Almighty ways keeps that punk on your sorry team to infest the other young players coming in...! Good for him...birds of a feather flock togeather...and you sheep follow right along.

Roy Williams is TOTAL CLASS...TOTAL! And, he plays for America's Team...The darling DALLAS COWBOYS.

Any questions? Or, do you need to confer with Art first? :lmao:

:dissskin: Hey, MossHummer...ya want to pet my dog, Gibbs?

No rookie starts in Gregg Williams' defense. He just doesn't trust them enough yet. So you were the only ones who thought Taylor's play wasn't up to snuff

OMG! As if you know what Gregg is thinking! That is nothing but an excuse!

Guess what? The Cowboys have been drafting ROOKIES to START! You know why? Because they have brains, and are upstanding citizens...

Gregg probably did'nt start Taylor because he's too stupid to learn the playbook! Why else would you not start this "great talent"?

You RedStinks can come up with the most assinine things... :lmao:

:dissskin: Good dog....Gibbs...(smart dog, too).
