The Walking Dead-Season 8, episodes 9-16

I wonder if Eugene will save the day for Rick and the hilltop gang. (Sounds like a bad 70's disco group) But here me out. What if Eugene has seen the error of his ways. He's been struggling with it for some time now and he let Gabe and the doc out. What if he makes blanks for negan and co.? and thats how they overcome negans okie doke with Dwight. He already put Gabe back on the line and he knows he cant see worth a dang.

I actually thought that exact thing while watching the episode that Eugene is going to prove himself to Rick's side by delivering lots of blanks to Negan, thus costing Negan the war.

I'm not sure about Tara, I could see father Gabriel, his character has kinda run its course.

I read one theory about the helicopter is that it's from Fear twd

Would be interesting if it's from F twd.

If it's from this show...I have a feeling I know where it's going to come from and if that's the case it's quite a ways away before they'd find out who has that helicopter(s).

I feel there will be a couple of losses in this battle but they're going to lose far more people at the outset of their battle with their next big threat that comes after the upcoming time skip.

That's what I'm thinking is gonna happen..Eugene griped about the primers not being set properly. If they're sticking up like they showed it would probably jam the gun. I can't imagine them getting that technical about it since the twd has no kind of ballistic experts apparently, but who knows. Maybe Eugene just doesn't add gun powder

Supposedly this finale is a sort of conclusion for the first 8 seasons of the show, meaning season 9 will have a much different slant.

Rumors are Lauren Cohen is pulling a Chandler Riggs, so losing Maggie would cause a huge shift.

The Maggie character is very important to the series... I think they would simply replace her. Sorta like the new Becky on Rosanne or the youngest son on The Partridge Family.

So is Carl, no?

I think if we got to say season 15, then the Carl character would be more important.

But up through this season? With Judith not being killed off in season 3 like in the graphic novel... Then no, I didn't see the character being critical long-term.

She's apparently not signed through this season so I guess could see it. I'm not sure how they're gonna fit everything in in the typical hour episode. Got Negan and rick, Aaron and the beach women, who knows where Jesus is, Morgan and then Jadis

He would not have been able to be saved after that. But whatever. Lol.

Also did I miss why the stained glass was in the tree? Just randomly hanging out there?

You know, I actually saw that in a someones field the other day. I was like whoa ive seen that before

That was one stunningly fast end to the battle...

I hit the nail on the head with Eugene. But yeah, everything moved so fast. I guess they figured the whole savior story line played out long enough and they wanted it to end quickly tonight. I was expecting a lot more fighting, especially between Negan and Rick.
