KM doesn't have enough experience yet. Plus, he is having way too much fun as an OC while getting paid very well to do so.
Yes. I would wager that he wants to win a SB with this bunch. It is a very small window of opportunity to do so.KM doesn't have enough experience yet. Plus, he is having way too much fun as an OC while getting paid very well to do so.
Why fire a proven CEO because the Head of Sales had a great year...(doesn't make sense, huh?)I thought it would be the best time to ask this question because the team is on a six gaming winning streak and satisfaction levels with McCarthy and Moore seem to be strong.
So the question is ..
If after the season, Kellen Moore receives a head coach (NFL or college) offer that he plans to accept, would you want to fire Mike McCarthy and hire Kellen Moore as the Dallas Cowboys head coach or would you keep Mike McCarthy and let Kellen Moore leave?
That’s the 64 million dollar question.Equally true. I hope we can keep him.
Does he really want to go somewhere and do that?
Kellen needs more seasoning before becoming a HC IMO.I thought it would be the best time to ask this question because the team is on a six gaming winning streak and satisfaction levels with McCarthy and Moore seem to be strong.

But his ticket will never be hotter if we win the superbowl... plus the league catches on to all great offensive minds eventually. If he wants to run the whole show( calling plays as a head coach) he needs to strike soon, if not he will need to find his next best thing... head coaching is SO much more than designing a good offense.Yes. I tend to agree. And why I think we let Moore go.Nope. While he is an important cog in the wheel, the offense is so loaded with talent it would be hard to not find productivity with that unit. Sticking big picture.
A good coach knows that the league will catch up to his schemes and he will adjust. But his ticket will never be hotter if we win the superbowl... plus the league catches on to all great offensive minds eventually. That’s still left to be seen in late January.Probably but he seems to be good at managing things from a higher level. If all he does is keep Jerry out of things so the culture of the team is good then that is more than any coach has done since Jimmy.
His phone is going to overheat! At this point, he is the only one who knows what he will do.That’s the 64 million dollar question.
Most asst coaches are looking for or at least striving for a HC opportunity. But for some the phone never rings.
well for me the prefect time is at seasons end when we have all data..I think you are making assumptions here.
I am not pushing for hiring Moore or keeping McCarthy.
I created this poll because I thought it was a perfect time to gauge the opinions of the community right now on a six game winning streak because I felt it was the best time for a level playing field of fan emotions between the two coaches.
If I had waited until the Cowboys lost a game (or more), then it would have influenced the results because of those losses.
Right now, it is a fair question to ask and, more importantly, an interesting question for everyone here.
When the season is over no matter the result, I will likely post the same poll again so we can see how fan sentiment changed or if it even changed at all over time.
yup KM cant take this offense full of weapons' with him but MM is fully capable of calling the plays for this offense full of weapons'.. hes done it before and KM never been HC of any kind..so im keeping MMNo.
I don’t know why some people want to get rid of a Super Bowl winning head coach. Who has a very good regular season record, a winning record in the playoffs, and been to 4 NFC title games. Simply because they are worried about whether Kellen will be a good head coach or not.
We already have a very good head coach.
Honestly, any team that hires Kellen would be hoping and praying for him to have anywhere near the success that Big Mike has had, as a head coach in the NFL.
I like Kellen. I really do. But I think it would be super super risky to get rid of Mike considering where the team is at now and his prior resume.
Kellen is not guaranteed to be as good a HC as Mike.

Make him the highest paid coordinator in the league and guarantee him the job when McCarthy leaves. I’m sure he would rather coach the cowboys in 2 years than the bears or Texans next season
To me that is like saying, "I will tell you who I think is going to win after the game ends and I know the score."well for me the prefect time is at seasons end when we have all data..
