How bad was the Tyler Booker pick?

He may end up being a heck of a player for us but my gosh did we not need a guard with our first pick.

We are more then fine with what we have.

The Texas corner should’ve been our pick or some other defensive player.

I hate to Monday morning QB this thing but that pick is looking bad & has nothing to do with the player but the position he plays.
We had Tyler Warren on the board and we went with Booker. This is Randy Moss all over again.

Doesn't have anything to do with Booker. IMHO. It's all about the misses on defense idiot Jones made through the years. Taco-Mazi-others. There''s really no dominate player on our defense and that's ALL drafting by the idiot GM.
Well he did draft Micah, and then he lost Micah. Jethro and Stevie Stove pipe are clueless. Just because you can make a lot of money does not mean you know how to build a football squad in the NFL.

I knew Warren was BPA when we picked, but I never would've expected him to begin dominating the league this quickly. TE is a notoriously slow-starting position, but Warren's probably top 3 at it in his first month.

Dude.

You were screaming for Johnny Manziel over Zack Martin back in the day.

Sit down, son. He played three games. Got rolled up on, retaped, and returned to the game. Diagnosed with a high ankle on the MRI after. Dude is looking to be back after three missed games. That's sort of the guy you want on the OL.

Sort of like when Tui had arthroscopic surgery on a Sunday night and was ready for the next game. Hopefully, with fewer illegal drugs involved.

Cowboys wanted to form a dominating OL for the next few years.

Had that pick been used on defense, you really think they would be so much better?
Cleveland got Mason Graham and the UCLA linebacker and went from the worst defense to serviceable so yes it could have been better

I really think the Cowboys continue to take OL in round one because it’s the only position they know how to scout. It’s the safe pick for them. They don’t trust themselves drafting anything else.

I think you are on to something. If it isn’t a really high pick, they go with the safe option. When they do get a high pick, it is wasted on a CB or RB.

The Cowboys' FO always does things their way, as they see fit. Many have tried to change that awful pattern, but to no avail. They refuse to admit to being incompetent, as everyone well knows. In the end, it's highly unlikely to change. We'd best get accustomed to that being the case. We're stuck with them and their foolhardy ways. Anyone with other ideas will be ignored. That's how they roll. :(

LOL at someone thinking Diggs is a building block and then saying it out loud

He wasn’t a few years go? Don’t Monday morning QB like that….dude was an all pro at one point, yes people thought he was a good player for building a good D…..didn’t totally expect him to fall off after he got paid.
